This special event supports our students in developing responsibility, integrity, citizenship, gratitude, and respect, helping them understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.

Whodunit? Come Find Out at “The Sound of Murder”

Somebody killed the director, and the suspects are Broadway legends. PACT Theatre presents The Sound of Murder, a one-act comedy by Don Zolidis, directed by Brooklyn Riggs.

Two hapless detectives race to crack the case before anyone bursts into song. Could it be Maria? Hamilton? Little Annie? Musical-theatre fans will catch the references, and everyone else will enjoy the chaos.

Title I Parent & Family Engagement Plan

PACT’s 2026–2027 Title I Parent and Family Engagement Plan outlines how our school partners with families to support student learning, including students receiving additional reading support. Developed with input from parents and staff, the plan describes opportunities for family involvement, communication about student progress, and resources to support learning at home. This plan strengthens the home-school connection and ensures families have a voice in their child’s education. We encourage families to review the plan and explore opportunities to get involved.

Three PACT Students Earn College Board National Recognition

Three PACT Charter School students have been named awardees in the 2026 College Board National Recognition Program: senior Jonathan Flaten and sophomores Evelyn Peters and Heidi Schmitz.

The College Board National Recognition Program honors high-achieving 10th- and 11th-graders nationwide. Students earn the award through strong performance on College Board assessments, such as the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams, combined with a cumulative GPA of B+ or higher.

The recognition is an official academic honor that students can include on college and scholarship applications.

Please join us in congratulating Jonathan, Evelyn, and Heidi on this well-deserved achievement!

PACT Online Spotlight: Finding Your Voice

One of the most important skills for an online student is self-advocacy: recognizing when you need support and taking the initiative to ask for it. In our conversations with students and families, we’ve seen how important that willingness to reach out has been for students finding success at PACT Online.

Self-advocacy might mean emailing a teacher about confusing directions, joining a Google Meet to work through a difficult concept, or letting someone know when an assignment isn’t submitting correctly. In an online setting, teachers may not see a puzzled expression or notice when a student gets stuck, which makes that communication especially important.

We’ve told multiple students that learning to advocate for themselves is a skill they’ll use for the rest of their lives. Asking questions, explaining challenges, and seeking support will serve them well in future classes, at work, and in their relationships.

Building that confidence takes practice, and our staff and families play an important role in encouraging it. Each time a student reaches out, they take ownership of their learning and learn that their voice matters.
