October 2026

Secondary families:

We've made it to fall break. Here are some updates on what's been happening in our halls!

Conferences

Thank you so much for joining us for parent/teacher conferences! Both conference nights were a great opportunity to connect with parents, provide space for discussion about student progress, share MAP scores, and offer an additional point of contact with our new staff. If you were unable to attend conferences but have questions for teachers, feel free to reach out— we look forward to partnering with you in your student’s success!

Homecoming

We had our very first Homecoming in the fall, celebrating our dance, volleyball, soccer, and football teams.  We had a great Pep Rally (shout-out to the student council for what is being regarded as the best Pep Rally ever), with student table surfing and an incredible performance by the football and dance teams.  It was a rainy football game on Friday, but students came out in full force and enjoyed the Homecoming dance in the evening.  For spirit week, we had more participation than in years prior, and it was fun to see the engagement.

Principal Perk-Up Recap

On October 9, we held Principal Perk-Up at the Secondary Campus.  Perk-Up was well attended, and the topics discussed centered on consistent grading procedures across our middle and high schools, as well as the new Digital Hall Pass.  Thank you to all parents who attended and offered feedback and insight.  We will share an infographic on how best to connect with teachers as we partner with families to support student growth.  We will also be highlighting ways families can support students as they grow.  We are thankful for the opportunity to set students up for success, not only at PACT but also in the next steps beyond our doors.

Parking & Driving Reminders

Thank you, families, for your continued feedback on parking and traffic flow. To keep our campus safe and efficient, please remember to come to a complete stop at all stop signs and drive slowly through the parking lot. We also ask that students be dropped off on the east side of the building, as front-door or back-door drop-offs can delay buses and create safety concerns.

Warmly,

Dr. Shawn Lohse
Secondary Principal
