- Community Education programs for Quarter 3 will start the week of January 20 and continue until March 19.
- Programs will run from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m.
- Registration for all Quarter 3 programs must be completed through Arbiter.
- Programs will only be held on days when students are in the building. If there is no school, no programs will be held that day.
- A minimum of 6 students is required for a community education program to run.
- Each class can accommodate up to 24 students.
- Registration will close once a class reaches the maximum capacity of 24 students.
Fees:
- Standard programs: $140 per class for the quarter.
- Friday-only programs: $93.33 prorated rate due to fewer Fridays.
Fines:
To ensure the safety of all students and respect our staff’s time, we have a strict late pickup policy. Parents and guardians must pick up their children promptly at the end of each activity.
- Late Fine: A fine will be issued for each late pickup and invoiced through your ParentSquare account.
- Parents will be fined $25 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments ($6.25 for 15 minutes late, $12.50 for 30 minutes late).
- The first late pick up of 15 minutes or less will result in a warning. The second will result in a fine, and the third will result in a fine and removal from the program for the remainder of the quarter.
- Fees will not be reimbursed if a child is removed from a program.
Important Notes:
- Community Education programs are separate from MSHSL-sponsored sports and do not count toward a family’s activity fee maximum.

Activities encourage curiosity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork as students learn to ask questions, make predictions, and draw conclusions—just as real scientists and engineers do. The Panther Youth Basketball program is for girls in grades 2 through 4 and aims to develop fundamental basketball skills while providing a fun, supportive environment for playing with classmates. The season will feature about two practices per week and 10-12 games. Our teams will compete in a local in-house league, mostly made up of schools within our conference. Practices will be scheduled around the game calendar and may change depending on gym availability. All games will be held at PACT, with 2nd grade playing at the Elementary Campus and 3rd and 4th grade games being played at the Secondary Campus. Teams will be formed once at least seven players are registered, and the league has enough participating teams. Additional details will be provided near the start of the season.
