Dear PACT Community,
As we approach winter break, I want to express my gratitude and reflect on the compassion and community that continue to strengthen PACT.
December is often celebrated as a month of giving, compassion, and reflection - a time when we pause to appreciate not only what we have accomplished together, but also the kindness and generosity that make PACT a truly special place for our students to learn and grow. This month’s character focus, compassion, has been shining brightly across both of our sites. It has been heartwarming to see students lifting one another, in big ways and small, showing that even simple acts of kindness and care can make a profound difference. This month's Secondary Student Council food drive for Hope4Youth inspired one of our students to start her own fundraising campaign, and she alone brought in more than $800 worth of food to donate to those in need! What a fantastic group of young people who are leading the way at PACT!
Amid the busyness December often brings, this season also reminds us to notice and cherish the blessings in our lives. PACT is blessed with an extraordinary teaching staff whose dedication, passion, and daily acts of care help shape our students into their best selves. Their commitment to living out compassion in the classrooms and community is inspirational. We are equally grateful to our Board of Directors, whose thoughtful leadership and stewardship ensure PACT remains strong – financially, operationally, and organizationally – so our mission “Partnering as parents, students, and staff to develop students of character and academic excellence,” can thrive for years to come. And to our families and volunteers: your involvement, encouragement, and partnership play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment for all students.
This holiday break is an invaluable opportunity to slow down, restore our energy, and connect with loved ones. I hope each of you can step away from the busyness of daily routines, find moments of peace and joy, and return in the new year renewed in spirit and purpose.
Thank you for all you do for our school community. I wish you a joyful, peaceful, and restorative holiday season.
Warm regards,
Dr. Nathan A. Flansburg
Superintendent of Schools
