December 2025

Dear Secondary Students and Families:

As we head into winter break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many ways our Secondary Campus continues to grow, connect, and RISE. This season has been filled with meaningful conversations, student leadership, and examples of Panther Pride in action. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support as we work together to provide a strong, engaging learning environment for every student.

Here are just a few highlights:

☕ Principal Perk-Up Recap

Fifteen parents joined us for “Principal Perk-Up” on Friday, December 12, where the conversation focused on the daily student schedule – recent changes, and opportunities for continued growth.

This year, PACT shifted from a seven-period day to a six-period day, and parents were invited to share their feedback on the change. Many noted that students are experiencing far fewer tardies and fewer complaints about access to restrooms. Students are also enjoying the new open gym option during lunch, which has quickly become a student favorite.

Families shared their “wish list” for future scheduling, including passing times and class length. Several parents expressed interest in longer class periods to support deeper learning and to get more work done in class while a teacher is there to assist. The feedback received from parents and the student focus group will be presented to the scheduling committee to inform decision-making as we move forward.

🧑‍🎓 Enrollment Openings

PACT Secondary will be welcoming a new class of 7th graders for the second semester. We have a limited number of openings still available. We also have immediate openings in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. Our waiting list for the 2026-2027 school year is growing, so you know students are interested in attending PACT, joining midyear is the best opportunity to secure a spot. Tell your friends to apply online!

🐾 Panther Pride

  • Student Council held a food drive for Hope4Youth, and a student was inspired to get more deeply involved, so she had her own fundraiser and raised over $800 to purchase food for those in need. We are so proud of her and want to recognize the compassion and citizenship she demonstrated, as well as those of all our other students who participated. It is incredible to be part of a school making a real difference in the community.
  • The National Honor Society has been busy serving the local community through ringing bells for The Salvation Army. Through their efforts, almost $1400 was donated to help those in our community. They also hosted a Parents Night Out for elementary families where our elementary students played games in the gym, made holiday crafts, and ate pizza. It was an excellent opportunity for mentorship and connection.
  • Order Class Shirts for Homecoming Spirit Week! DECA is a student-run business organization dedicated to preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. In support of this mission, we are excited to announce the launch of our first clothing collection. Each grade 6-12 will have its own uniquely designed shirt to showcase both school pride and class spirit. Seniors will also have the special opportunity to feature their last name on the back of their shirts. Pre-order your shirt today at www.pactdeca.org/shop to reserve your size and, for seniors, to secure your customized design.

🔔 Taco Bell Grand Opening

Our band students had a unique opportunity to perform at the grand opening of the 100th Taco Bell in Ramsey, Minnesota. The students performed incredibly well and persevered through less-than-ideal weather. After their performance, Border Foods welcomed our students into the new Taco Bell lobby to offer tacos as a thank-you for playing. It was wonderful to support our local community and to showcase not only our students’ musical talent but also their character, as they engaged kindly and respectfully with Taco Bell staff.
