Dear Students in Grades 7-12:

Applications for the National Junior Honor Society (NHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS) are now open! 

Being a member of NHS or NJHS offers a great chance to grow as a leader, serve your community, and be recognized for your dedication to scholarship, service, leadership, and character. If you are interested in applying, please fill out the application form and submit all required materials by 3 p.m. on September 15. No late applications will be accepted. 

Selection criteria: 

• To qualify for NHJS membership, the candidate must be in the 7th, 8th, or 9th grade and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. 

• To qualify for NHS membership, the candidate must be a sophomore, junior, or senior and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. 

• Candidates must have attended the PACT for at least one full semester prior to application.

• All candidates will be assessed on their service, leadership, and character.

If chosen, the Induction Ceremony will be on October 3. NJHS will be held at 4 p.m. and NHS at 6 p.m.  

Important note for 7th graders who applied in spring 2025: To stay aligned with the NJHS Constitution, all 7th-grade members must reapply at this time. This helps keep our chapter consistent with national standards.
